Looking for a great time in Atlanta where you get out into nature and see our fantastic city up close and personal? My good friend, Robyn Elliott is the owner of Bicycle Tours of Atlanta which runs three hour tours of the Intown Neighborhoods, historic sites and hidden jewels off the beaten path. One of my favorite places on the tour is Oakland Cemetery, a victorian garden cemetery and city park where Margaret Mitchell, Bobby Jones, and Civil War soldiers are buried.
I also love the murals around town. We have some great wall art and Robyn takes you there. Of course the tours explore Civil War and Civil Rights history of Atlanta. Robyn takes you through some of the coolest neighborhoods, including Inman Park and Cabbage Town.
If you are coming to Atlanta check out her site and see what the schedule is. They start early in the summer and will be running evening tours as the days are longer.
